Health Research Data Management Workshop
Monday, 30th of September, Tuesday, 1st of October, Wednesday, 2nd of October 2024
IFA, Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon
iSTARS is hosting a Health Research Data Management Workshop in collaboration with IFA (Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon) and BioData.pt. Applications open until 22nd of September
In today’s research environment, effective data management is not just a valuable skill, but an essential one. As funding agencies increasingly require data management plans and the open sharing of research data, researchers need to be equipped with the right tools and knowledge.
This workshop will teach participants to manage research data ethically, legally, and efficiently, in line with the F.A.I.R principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). It is designed to combine both theoretical insights and hands-on practical exercises.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Understand the stages of the research data life cycle.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data management plan.
- Use cutting-edge tools for data processing, storage, and sharing.
- Navigate real-world challenges in research data management.
