Sofia Torres

iSTARS Computational Biologist

Sofia Torres is a bioinformatician for iSTARS. She holds a MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology and a minor in Information technology from FCUL. She previously worked for NOVA Medical School Research, where she studied gene regulatory networks in heart development. Her research interests cover systems biology, genomics and AI-driven personalized medicine.
